It is the intention of the Morris Performing Arts Center to maintain a well-staffed, efficient, and informed corps of volunteers. This group will consist of individuals whose primary interest is in contributing to the community. Our volunteers are required to commit to working regular performances on an ongoing basis.

If you are chosen to join our usher staff you will receive and be required to read the usher manual. Ushers are required to work on their assigned night or matinee and to arrive at the scheduled time, normally 1-1/2 hours before show time. Tardiness and failure to attend your scheduled events will result in termination from the program. All new ushers must be able to walk throughout the theater normally. This includes being able to climb to the top of the balcony. If chosen as a volunteer usher, I agree to read the usher manual and also agree to meet the above attendance requirements.
